Research Support
To request any data-driven deliverable (e.g. a survey, an evaluation, a research project or any other data related matter),
there are some guidelines that must be adhered to. This is essential for the Research, Development and Innovation Department
to manage its workload and to serve the military in a timely and strategic manner. To request support for a survey, evaluation,
research project or any other data related matter, the following guidelines should be followed:
-
First Guideline
-
A completed Request For Support/Consultation Form should be sent via email to the Research, Development and Innovation Manager at cma.research@jdf.mil.jm,
indicating the request along with any supporting documentation that may assist in the process. A follow-up meeting or consultation session will be necessary
to fully understand the needs related to your request.
-
Second Guideline
-
The amount of time needed to complete data requests will depend on the complexity and scope of the request (e.g., qualitative surveys require more
time as opposed to quantitative surveys) and staff availability at the time of your request. During the consultation, the most suitable date of completion
will be discussed. It is always advantageous to submit the data request as far in advance as possible.
-
Third Guideline
-
To bolster a smooth process, it is required that the requesting party assist with the dissemination of the survey instruments while the Research,
Development and Innovation Department will monitor the survey process and evaluate the findings.
